CFY-2 Seed Blower

Introduction:

This instrument operates based on the aerodynamic properties (terminal velocity) of material particles in an airflow. The sample is placed in a sample box with a precision mesh at the bottom. A bottom-mounted fan generates airflow that passes through the mesh into a vertical winnowing duct, separating the sample into two fractions: impurities (collected in the upper impurity chamber) and clean seeds (collected in the sample box).
