Introduction

TEN series soil tensiometer consists of tensiometer tube, pointer-type negative pressure meter and ceramic head, the equipment utilizes the negative pressure meter to determine the soil moisture, which is a practical means to study the soil moisture movement from the energy point of view. It is widely used in scientific experiments, irrigation management and other fields.

The Function Features:

  • The tensiometer consists of a pressure gauge, a kleenex tube and a ceramic head. The ceramic head is wet when the kleenex tube is filled with water and prevents outside air from entering the ceramic head. When the water potential of the soil to be measured and the tensiometer there is a pressure difference, the water in the tensiometer penetrates into the soil to be measured until it reaches an equilibrium state, at this time, the value shown in the pressure gauge is the soil water potential of the soil to be measured.
