Introduction

The Soil Respiration Meter measures CO₂, temperature, humidity, and external light intensity in real time. It supports research in agroecology, carbon cycling, climate change, land-use change, ecological restoration, soil microbiology, plant ecology, and insect and root respiration.

The Function Features:

  • Dot-matrix LCD with Chinese menus and cursor-guided operation.
  • User-configurable date, time, measurement interval, and user ID.
  • Stored data can be exported to a computer for secondary analysis and printing.
  • Continuously measures CO₂, temperature, humidity, and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR).
  • Standard respiration chamber: 1L effective volume, UPVC outer shell, 304 stainless steel inner lining. Optional chambers of other volumes are available for measuring respiration of fruits, vegetables, insects, seeds, and more.
  • Equipped with a micro electronic flowmeter; automatically shuts off the air pump and issues a fault alert in case of line blockage.
  • Uses Swiss high-precision temperature, humidity, and non-diffusive CO₂ sensors for accurate and reliable measurements.
